Mountain
Grove is a luxurious, small country inn famed for its simple
elegance and home-like comforts; our specialty is our exclusive
estate rental. In its secluded, park-like location on three
acres, Mountain Grove Retreat Center is an ideal setting for
wedding parties, workshops, church groups and business retreats—private
parties and events of any kind.
Place
the skeleton key in the 150-year-old oak door and come on in--the
whole place is yours. Built in 1919 as the gracious vacation
home for a large Miami family, Mountain Grove comfortably sleeps
up to 14 guests, and our spacious common rooms and porches contribute
cheer and charm to gatherings of up to 50 people. The new Oak
Terrace is perfect for a garden wedding or reception and expands
your guest number up to 125. For larger groups we will be happy
to reserve additional housing for you very nearby.
Each night includes your luxury lodging with full breakfast
for 10. (Additional guests can receive lodging and breakfast
for $30 per person, per night.) Enjoy your gardens, woods, outdoor
fire circle. You are also welcome to use our kitchen
and entertainment center. We do ask for a two-night minimum
on most weekends. For weddings, business meetings, and workshops
additional services are customized for the size and nature of
your group. We can provide full catering, snacks and beverage
service.
